Adeline Metro, style and authenticity
Metro is a french painter who lives and works in Normandy. France.
She began to paint more intensely after her professional carreer in famous companies of Perfume and then in Home decoration.
She knows that her work can bring peace and want to create a world of serenity for the viewer. Minimalist lines and a restricted palette, give this simplified aspect of spaces and colors.
The essential gesture combined with harmony research, balance of forms, as well as the emotional power of colors give spririt and deepness to her work.
Beside her semi-abstract paintings made mostly with a palette knife, like her fields of flowers and her seascapes full of life and energy, she developed a whole collection of imaginative stylish marinas, in back lighting, mixing the transparency of inks in the reflection of the sea with the straightness of sailboat masts and their shadows; this almost bewitching effect of simplified beauty draws us in her mysterious and particular charming world.
Recently honored during her past international exhibitions, she continues her quest of beauty through her new collections in public and private shows.
